Oxford Bus stops

There are two good ways to get to Oxford when you are in London.

By train: directly from Paddington or Marylebone station. The main train station in Oxford is in easy walking distance to the campus.

By bus: the ‘Oxford Tube’ is a frequent bus service which operates all day, every day, from central London to Oxford’s central bus station at Gloucester Green, approximately 15 min walk from the campus.

From France

There are several ways to get to Oxford from France:

By ferry: from France (Le Havre, Caen, Cherbourg, St. Malo) to Portsmouth or from Calais to Dover. Crossings to Portsmouth take between 6 – 8 hours and can be very affordable. There is a direct train connection from Portsmouth to Oxford (approx. 2 hours).

By train: via Eurostar from Paris or Lille to London central then from Paddington or Marylebone as above.

By plane: to London Heathrow, London Gatwick or Birmingham International, with easy coach and train connections to Oxford.

By ‘Flixbus’: from various locations in France to London.
