Bernd Bonfert is assistant professor in Economics and joined EM Normandie in 2024. He has a PhD in Management Sciences and Social Sciences from Radboud University Nijmegen and Roskilde University obteined in 2020. His doctoral thesis analysed transnational collaboration strategies of civil society organisations. His research focuses on sustainable business models, social innovation, and stakeholder collaboration. In his recent work, he investigated innovations in the agrifood system, local energy communities, and social and solidarity economy networks.
